Andrew is a chartered physiotherapist and Pilates instructor from the Republic of Ireland. He graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in Scotland. He also holds a Higher Certificate with Distinction in Physiology and Health Science from the Carlow Institute of Technology in Ireland.
Before relocating to New Zealand, Andrew was a rotational physiotherapist for three years in a busy teaching hospital in the National Health Service in Scotland, and during that time he also provided pitch-side physiotherapy services to the Dundee Football Club youth academy. While working rotations in medical, stroke rehab, musculoskeletal outpatients, trauma and orthopedics, elderly rehab, pediatrics, and amputee rehab departments, he developed a wide range of skills, which are constantly developing and evolving and enhancing his approach to every new client.
Andrew is big into his holistic healthcare. He practices mindfulness meditation every day and is a big believer in the importance of looking after mind, body, and soul. In his spare time, he practices yoga, trains at the gym, enjoy leisurely runs and trains his brain via playing chess and learning Spanish.
