From a very young age, Carlin has been heavily involved in sport both competitively and recreationally. With vast club and academy football experience in Australia and New Zealand with organisations like Asia Pacific Football Academy (APFA), with his background predominantly consisting of football. Though lately, he began competing in big mountain alpine skiing in New Zealand and abroad.
Carlin’s keen interests within the scope include sports-related injury and rehabilitation, psychological behaviours and pain associated with injury, and effective education to facilitate the patients’ understanding.
Some of Carlin’s personal interests include playing music, mountain biking, and exercising.
