Since graduating from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy, Erin has worked in a variety of health and wellbeing settings. During her continued time in Scotland, her role predominantly consisted of working within a community hospital, supporting elderly patients. Whilst working part-time in the community, she was privileged enough to be recruited as a physiotherapist, by the Dundee United football academy. This was a valuable and particularly interesting opportunity for Erin, as she too plays football and has a comprehensive understanding on the physical demands that this sport has on the body.
Since moving to New Zealand and joining Peak, Erin has furthered her experience as both a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor, whilst working across both Peaks Next Gen and Grey Lynn studios. She has enjoyed further developing her skills in manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation, in turn improving people’s quality of life.
In Erin’s own time, you will find her out and about, enjoying an active lifestyle with the gym and running. However, she has a particular passion for tennis which she has played from a young age. Her keen interest in sports, and experience of her own sporting injuries, accelerated her desire to work with individuals of all ages and abilities to return to the activities they are passionate about!
