Evelyn is an experienced and registered Physiotherapist and a certified Pilates instructor. She graduated in Physiotherapy in 2013 and followed her passion for Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, taking a postgraduate course in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy – Functional Urogynecology in 2014. She founded her own clinic in Brazil in 2015 with the goal of helping women and men with bladder and sexual dysfunctions and working on the health care of pregnant women. She has in the past enjoyed giving talks about woman’s health to the community.
In 2018 she came to Auckland to improve her knowledge and skills in a personal and professional way and was accepted in the Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in AUT, which she completed with merit.
She loves helping people to increase their quality of life and finds it gratifying the fast improvement of functionality and well being of her clients after starting Pilates or Pelvic floor rehabilitation.
When Evelyn is not working, you will find her reading fiction novels and natural gynaecology books, travelling around amazing NZ and watching good movies with her friends.
Evelyn has an especial interest and a lot of experience in treating: Urinary Incontinence in Men and Women, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Sexual Dysfunctions (Pain, vaginismus, Vulvodynia, Post-Prostatectomy), Fecal incontinence and Constipation.
