Neal is a Chartered Physiotherapist and trained Pilates Instructor. He graduated with an Honours Degree from The Robert Gordon University Aberdeen in Scotland. Neal’s passion for Physiotherapy stemmed from his own past experience of sporting injuries. This gave him a great appreciation of how frustrating injuries can be, fuelled his desire to help others in maximising their physical potential, and return to the activities they love.
Neal has a keen interest in travel and adventure sparked his decision to make the move to New Zealand. Throughout his training, Neal gained experience in a wide range of specialities including Musculoskeletal, Neuro, Orthopaedics, Vascular, Respiratory, Oncology and Elite Sport. Upon graduating he developed a keen interest in Musculoskeletal and has worked in this field for the NHS in the UK, as well as in elite football and rugby with Dundee United, St Johnstone FC and Strathmore RFC.
Neal is a firm believer in health promotion and the benefits of exercise, in turn this is reflected in his very active lifestyle. In his spare time Neal enjoys hiking, gaelic football, hurling, cycling, cooking and going to the gym. His role at Peak affords him the opportunity to empower others to achieve their goals through a combination of hands on physiotherapy and Pilates based exercise.
